About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design system components
  • Conduct user needs research, gather feedback, and adjust UI/UX approaches
  • Create and maintain style guides, pattern libraries, and reusable design artifacts
  • Ensure adherence to 508 accessibility requirements and FBI design standards
  • Build responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or related web technologies
  • Collaborate with backend developers to align UI components with API capabilities
  • Support usability testing, analyze test results, and provide design-driven recommendations
  • Provide cross-team design support for unit projects and modernization initiatives
  • Work across teams to design and implement intuitive user interfaces supporting application modernization
  • Translate wireframes into modern, maintainable UI components

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of UI/UX and frontend development experience
  • Experience with UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe XD
  • Experience with modern frontend development frameworks
  • Strong understanding of web accessibility, responsive design, and modern design systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
