About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and post monthly journal entries to the general ledger
- Lead account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve variances
- Own monthly accruals
- Support intercompany account reconciliations, including recording transactions, reconciling balances, and resolving differences
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external reporting
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files
- Support preparation of audit schedules and documentation
- Support the fixed assets function, including recording additions, disposals, and depreciation
- Prepare bank reconciliations and assist in cash management activities
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
- Report directly to the Controller
- Travel approximately 10%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, including Deltek, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and SAP
- Prior work with multi-entity accounting
- CPA is a plus
