About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop detailed knowledge of the product range, competitive positioning, and market perception.
  • Develop and communicate a deep understanding of customers across the business.
  • Integrate human factors, usability engineering, and clinical insights throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Understand how healthcare professionals, patients, and carers interact with medical devices and identify and mitigate use-related risks.
  • Translate clinical and user insights into product design requirements.
  • Support evaluation and optimisation of existing products.
  • Ensure user needs and clinical requirements are reflected in product strategies and development plans.
  • Conduct and document formative and summative usability evaluations.
  • Lead the Respiratory Insights Process and ensure insights are categorised and actioned.
  • Lead the Inspire Nurse Panel and manage communications, topics, and data objectives.
  • Lead competitor monitoring and promote the resource to the commercial team.
  • Support the New Product Introduction Process by gathering and compiling customer feedback.
  • Assist with product lifecycle reviews and product obsolescence management.
  • Identify product range gaps and improvement opportunities and work with R&D on solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Work with the Senior Product Manager to maximise product range potential and achieve growth targets.
  • Travel occasionally between sites.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Educated to degree level in a business or science subject.
  • Comfortable communicating with a wide range of people in a variety of ways.
  • Evidence of a genuine interest in the field of Product Management.
  • Access to transport.
  • Experience of product management within a manufacturing business (desirable).
  • Experience of developing a product range (desirable).
  • Experience of developing a new product (desirable).
  • Experience of collecting and disseminating market data (desirable).
  • Experience of product life cycle planning and management (desirable).
  • Experience with medical devices (desirable).
  • Project management experience (desirable).
  • 2nd language ability (desirable).
