About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide remote diagnostic audiology services to partnering ENT practices
  • Work with an onsite MA or equivalent
  • Conduct comprehensive audiology evaluations including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, video otoscopy, and immittance testing
  • Perform initial fitting of air conduction hearing devices
  • Work with ENT clinic staff to provide diagnostic audiology services as directed by the ENT group
  • Provide use and care counseling for air conduction hearing aids
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to assess and analyze auditory function
  • Chart notes in the ENT EMR and write reports as appropriate
  • Recommend next audiology steps to the ENT
  • Communicate assessment findings to patients clearly and empathetically
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate electronic medical records

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
  • State licensure and certification as a Diagnostic Audiologist
  • Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
