About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct hearing assessments and diagnostics using remote technology and interpret results for practices and patients
  • Provide remote counseling and support to patients regarding hearing loss and Virsono solutions
  • Recommend, sell, and fit appropriate Earlens solutions and air conduction systems
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system
  • Assist with scheduling activities and work with local and national resources
  • Provide excellent patient care and proactive customer service while minimizing returns
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and referral sources as needed
  • Stay up to date with advancements in hearing technology and telehealth technology
  • Meet clinic productivity and quality standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Audiology, Hearing Science, or related field
  • CA state license to practice as a Hearing Instrument Specialist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hearing instrument fitting and dispensing
  • Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer and telehealth technology
