About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clinical leadership, oversight, supervision, mentorship, and guidance to EPIC Early Childhood Services staff
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external community partners to strengthen the place-based continuum of care
  • Support, evaluate, and enhance place-based services for effective, culturally responsive community outcomes
  • Provide trauma-informed clinical and administrative supervision to pre-licensed interns, registered associates, and licensed clinicians
  • Provide individual and/or group supervision in person and virtually as needed
  • Co-create professional development goals and complete periodic employee evaluations
  • Support staff in meeting service delivery and caseload expectations through ongoing feedback
  • Identify clinician training needs and provide training when needed
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding new staff
  • Monitor supervisees' work schedules and inform the Program Director of issues, absences, and vacations
  • Provide crisis consultation and direct crisis intervention services as needed
  • Maintain relationships with school principals and personnel and support clinical staff at school sites
  • Ensure school referral systems are set up for success
  • Act as liaison between the organization, local schools, families, and community partners
  • Support and participate in COST and district-led meetings
  • Participate in agency utilization review and uphold Alameda County Behavioral Health EPSDT standards and EBAC best practices
  • Attend EBAC meetings and trainings as needed
  • Provide direct services and maintain a caseload based on program needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active LCSW or LMFT license meeting all Board of Behavioral Sciences criteria to act as a Clinical Supervisor in a mental health discipline
  • Minimum of two years post-licensure experience
  • Fully completed all BBS supervisor training requirements and able to provide completion certificates at hire/first day of work
  • Demonstrated experience supervising pre-licensed interns or associates providing child and family therapy in a community mental health setting
  • Experience in clinical chart auditing and Quality Assurance monitoring
  • Experience ensuring compliance with behavioral health standards
  • Ability to navigate Electronic Health Record platforms and web-based systems
  • Strong supervisory, administrative, and interpersonal skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Prior personnel management and team leadership experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to routinely drive between varied school locations in Alameda County
  • Ability to climb stairs in multi-story buildings
  • Ability to periodically lift up to 25 pounds
