About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build and deploy Power Apps, including canvas and model-driven applications, using Dataverse as a core data platform
  • Develop Power Automate cloud flows to automate business processes and connect Microsoft 365, Dataverse and other services
  • Extend and integrate Power Platform solutions using APIs, custom connectors, Azure services and appropriate pro-code components
  • Develop complementary solutions across the Microsoft stack, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Fabric and Azure
  • Work directly with stakeholders to turn business requirements into intuitive, secure and maintainable applications
  • Apply Power Platform governance, security, environment management, DevOps and application lifecycle management best practices
  • Test, document, support and continuously improve applications already in use across the business
  • Take ownership of solutions from initial discovery and design through deployment, support and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the Lead Power Platform Developer and report to the Senior IT Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recent, hands-on experience developing and delivering applications on the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience building, testing and deploying canvas and/or model-driven Power Apps in a live business environment
  • Experience creating robust Power Automate cloud flows for approvals, notifications, integrations and end-to-end process automation
  • Experience designing Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles and solution components
  • Experience with Power Platform application lifecycle management, including solutions, environments, source control and controlled deployment between development, test and production
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure services, APIs and other data sources
  • Experience applying security, governance, performance and maintainability principles to production applications
  • Experience translating business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions with stakeholders
  • Desirable: experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, GitHub, Azure DevOps or Microsoft Fabric
  • Must already have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available
