About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide hands-on nanny care for three girls, ages 12 and twin 10-year-olds
- Handle school or bus-stop pickups using the family’s provided SUV
- Coordinate children’s activities and afternoon routines
- Support skiing, tennis, swimming, piano, gymnastics, and outdoor activities
- Prepare family dinners and grocery shop
- Keep the pantry stocked
- Manage laundry, make beds, and tidy common areas
- Organize closets and run errands
- Handle household projects and maintain organized family routines
- Pack ski gear and prepare children for activities and trips
- Schedule household services such as oil changes
- Wrap Christmas gifts and maintain a warm, welcoming home
- Provide a safe, happy, loving, and stable presence for the children
- Communicate with and support Dad while respecting the role of the children’s mother
- Provide additional summer support as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of full-time professional nanny experience, ideally with school-aged children and teens
- Previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years
- Minimum of 3 years of recent childcare experience, or at least 2 years as a professional nanny, or 3 years as a teacher, therapist, behavior interventionist, or childcare-center worker
- Proven household management experience
- Ability to work independently
- Strong professional references
- Clean background check
- Clean driving record
- Active, energetic, and comfortable supporting children’s sports, outdoor activities, including swimming, and busy schedules
- Seeking a long-term commitment of 5+ years
- Must have a driver’s license and vehicle
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to be paid legally with taxes removed
