About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports
- Provide discipline-specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders
- Oversee all components of Applied Behavior Analysis programs for assigned caseload
- Facilitate behavior programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles
- Conduct behavior assessments and function as an Assessor when needed
- Provide parent education and develop and deliver intervention activities
- Liaise among the organization, families, community, therapists, health care providers, regional centers, and school programs
- Conduct evaluations, case-management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits
- Meet productivity requirements set in the annual budget
- Lead and/or attend staff meetings
- Prepare and provide specialized training and instructional materials
- Define associate responsibilities, manage and evaluate associate performance and productivity
- Train and onboard new associates; provide ongoing training to Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists
- Support recruitment and selection of new program associates with Regional Clinical Director and Human Resources
- Attend conferences and trainings to remain current in autism, special education, and related fields
- Travel locally as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in ABA or related field
- Must possess and maintain a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Must possess and maintain current CPR certification
- 2-3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches for children with ASD
- Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis intervention approaches, including PRT, NET, PECS, BST, and EFA
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Able to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and a TB test
- Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or positive titer showing immunity
- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Up to 50% local travel required
- Must maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
