About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage day-to-day project delivery activities within the Project Management Office
Directly supervise project managers, project coordinators, solution consultants, business analysts, and test analysts
Develop and maintain project schedules, identify resource or system conflicts, and coordinate resolutions
Monitor project budgets, spending, expenditures, and variances
Support project portfolio tracking and reporting for project status, workload, risks, and stakeholders
Provide operational oversight for business requirements, documentation, and project deliverables
Monitor testing activities, support test plans, document results, and coordinate issue resolution
Build stakeholder relationships and facilitate recurring project meetings
Reinforce PMO standards, tools, and best practices through coaching and onboarding
Monitor milestones, budgets, and quality expectations and escalate delivery risks
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required
Project Management Certification (PMP, PGMP, PfMP, CSM) is required
6-8 years of portfolio, program, and project management and solution consulting experience is required
8 years of supervisory experience is required
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook), Smartsheet, JIRA, and other project management and collaboration tools
Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation
Ability to travel locally; maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and vehicle registration
Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed
Must pass all drug testing required by ESSC and a post-offer physical evaluation
Ability to manage multiple technical and non-technical projects of moderate to high complexity
Working knowledge of applicable regulations, privacy standards, and operational requirements
Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
