About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Float to all emergency rooms and freestanding emergency rooms in the Richmond Market
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Provide advanced treatment and care to patients with complex diagnoses
  • Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care to facilitate planned and expected outcomes
  • Administer medications safely in accordance with state practice requirements and Bon Secours policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited associate degree or bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required
  • Two or more years clinical RN experience required in ER
  • 1 summer and 1 winter holiday required
  • Every third weekend required
  • Full-time night shift availability
  • Ability to float to all Richmond Market emergency rooms and freestanding emergency rooms
