About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Float to all sites in the Richmond market
- Float to Behavioral Health and Med Surg units
- Float between Med Surg, Ortho, Oncology, Telemetry, and Behavioral Health units
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide advanced treatment and care to patients with complex diagnoses
- Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care
- Administer medications safely according to state practice and Bon Secours policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required
- Two or more years clinical RN experience required in BH and MS
- Behavioral Health nurses must also have floor med/surg experience
- 1 summer and 1 winter holiday required
- Every third weekend required
