About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advice and assistance to senior management for maintaining effective and efficient quality management systems
- Assist in designing, developing, and implementing Quality Management Systems compliant with applicable internal and external standards
- Train and qualify quality inspectors, including refresher training and proficiency monitoring
- Participate in ISO registrar audits and selected customer and third-party audits at the assigned site's shop
- Analyze nonconformance reports from internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Provide training on new and revised quality procedures
- Conduct investigations of major quality problems, including customer complaints
- Prepare technical reports regarding procedures, processes, and problems
- Provide assistance and mentoring to quality and inspection personnel
- Process and ensure satisfactory completion of maintenance and capital projects on time and within budget
- Complete or oversee final quality auditing of workscope documentation for each project, including high-quality inspection and overhaul reports
