About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare technical reports, including Construction Plan and Cost Reports (CPCRs), Construction Monitoring Reports (CMRs), and similar reports for lenders and investors
Review construction documentation, including plans, schedules, contracts, budgets, draw requests, contractor pay applications, lien waivers, and change orders
Attend project meetings
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Visit construction sites to observe and document progress
Communicate project status updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Manage the project lifecycle from initiation through final completion
Serve as technical lead to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and industry standards
Collaborate with internal teams and clients on concurrent construction monitoring projects
Track milestones and produce reports focused on construction plans and costs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or Certificate in Construction Management, Architecture or Civil Engineering
8+ years’ experience in construction, construction monitoring or construction consulting, generating or reviewing construction work and construction draws
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent understanding of construction documents, including plans, schedules, contracts, budgets, draw requests, contractor pay applications, lien waivers, and change orders
Working understanding of both horizontal and vertical construction
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent technical report writing and communication skills
Demonstrable success working in a similar environment
Willingness and ability to travel nationwide
