About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and implement the FOTA validation strategy
Develop test plans and execute validation campaigns
Ensure the security of software deliveries
Lead OTA deployment campaigns across a vehicle fleet
Coordinate the various stakeholders
Monitor update performance
Analyze anomalies and identify root causes

Contribute to the continuous improvement of OTA/FOTA processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree from an engineering school or university-level specialist training in electronics, embedded software, embedded systems, or telecommunications
At least 5 years of significant experience in system validation, embedded software validation, or connected vehicles
Knowledge of the fundamentals of automotive cybersecurity, embedded electronic architectures, and remote software update mechanisms
Proficiency in OTA/FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air)
Expertise in system validation and embedded software validation
Knowledge of Software Update Management
Automotive cybersecurity skills
Knowledge of cryptography and secure software update practices
Proficiency in UDS (ISO 14229) and FlexRay (ISO 17458) protocols
Knowledge of modern E/E architectures
Knowledge of UN-R156 and ISO/SAE 24089 standards
Experience managing software deployment campaigns for connected vehicles
Rigor, autonomy, and strong analytical skills
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and lead high-value technical activities
