About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development of evidence-based policy positions incorporating technical expertise and sustainability objectives
- Translate technical and policy developments into clear and impactful messaging with communications and sustainability teams
- Prepare updates, reports, and advocacy materials reflecting technical and policy issues
- Develop and maintain networks of policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders with national Public Affairs agencies
- Represent Ecocem in industry associations, policy forums, conferences, public affairs settings, external events, and media engagements
- Promote low-carbon construction solutions and sustainable development
- Draft and deliver presentations, reports, and communications for external stakeholders
- Coordinate with the strategy team to provide coverage of relevant legislation and its impact on the construction market
- Monitor and analyse policy and legislative developments within the EU, Member States, and globally
- Stay informed about legislative initiatives and EU funding efforts to scale cleantech solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in engineering, policy, economics or other relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in policy analysis, data-driven research, and public affairs representation
- Past experience in a government or EU institution is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised and detail oriented
- Comfortable travelling for work
- Fluent in English
- French & Dutch desirable
