Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Active state teaching license in Special Education for grades 6-12
  • Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings
  • Comfortable with the demands of a live online classroom
  • Able to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours per instructional day
  • Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software
  • Ability to interpret student performance data and adjust instruction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with time management skills to manage a full student caseload remotely
  • Commitment to professional growth, maintaining certification, and staying current on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices
  • Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
