About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver live, on-camera synchronous math instruction for five or more hours per day on every scheduled instructional day
  • Create an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Active New Jersey state teaching license in Math grades 6-12
  • Reside in one of the fifty United States
  • Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings
  • Comfortable with the demands of a live online classroom
  • Ability to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours per instructional day
  • Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software
  • Ability to read student performance data and use it to adjust instruction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organization and self-direction
  • Time management skills to independently manage a full student caseload in a remote environment
  • Commitment to professional growth, maintaining certification, and staying current on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices
  • Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
