About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Customize and build applications on CEA's Salesforce platform
  • Develop and maintain the Salesforce environment
  • Enhance Salesforce user experience and data capabilities
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems
  • Manage and enhance Salesforce Experience Cloud Sites, including application forms using screen flows and custom code
  • Test functionality before launch and resolve post-launch issues or bugs
  • Troubleshoot and debug custom code, automations, integrations, and platform functionality
  • Ensure custom development follows security and performance best practices
  • Maintain technical documentation and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for Salesforce-related programs
  • Identify and understand user requirements
  • Coordinate with the Salesforce Engineer on projects and support requests
  • Support day-to-day user requests
  • Collaborate with Events, Online, Groups, and Community Health Teams
  • Support flagship programs including events, online courses, EA groups, and the EA Forum

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
  • Proficiency in Apex and SOQL
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and compliance with best practices and Salesforce releases
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely in time zones between US Pacific Time and CET preferred
  • Experience with Lightning Web Components and Visualforce (bonus)
  • Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) (bonus)
  • Experience with FormAssembly (bonus)
  • Experience with Data Cloud (Data 360) (bonus)
  • Must provide either a LinkedIn profile or resume
  • CEA participates in E-Verify for US employees
