About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct calls with prospects to collect information and transfer qualified leads to licensed insurance advisors
  • Use multiple computer systems and databases to look up lead records and accurately disposition interactions
  • Follow phone scripts and workflows to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Collect accurate information to facilitate life insurance sales
  • Meet performance metrics including attendance, call availability, daily call minimums, call-to-transfer percentage, quality scores, and customer satisfaction ratings
  • Participate in training as needed to remain current on systems and regulatory requirements
  • Sit or stand at a desk while using a computer and telephone headset
  • No on-camera presence is required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service, sales, administrative, retail, hospitality, campus, volunteer, or other experience involving communication with customers or the public is preferred; relevant school or community experience applies
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional phone presence
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced setting
  • Comfort using computers, learning new systems, and working across multiple applications
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
  • Quiet, distraction-free work environment
  • Reliable access to high-speed internet
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills, including English and Spanish, are a plus
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 12:00 pm–4:00 pm CST
  • Part-time availability of 20 hours per week
