About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal advice to the company on key matters relating to its day-to-day operations
- Review, comment on, and draft contracts and legal documents
- Support supply, service, procurement, sales, non-disclosure, framework, and project agreements
- Support business departments in implementing contractual requirements
- Participate in contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, service providers, and other business partners
- Advise internal stakeholders on matters of civil, commercial, and corporate law
- Assess legal risks and prepare recommendations for action
- Maintain and further develop contract templates, standard clauses, internal policies, and Legal Tech processes
- Manage legal documents, monitor relevant deadlines, and maintain structured documentation of legal advice provided
- Support compliance matters, data protection issues, corporate law measures, disputes, and claims management
- Work with external law firms
- Gradually take ownership of advisory matters and assume increasing responsibility
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in law, business law, or a comparable legal qualification
- Ideally, initial practical experience in a legal department, law firm, audit firm, or comparable legal environment
- Experience in contract law, commercial and corporate law, or commercial contracting processes is an advantage but not required
- Strong understanding of business and commercial contexts
- Interest in practical, business-oriented legal advice
- Ability to analyze legal issues in a structured manner and present them clearly
- Very good written and spoken German
- Good to very good written and spoken English
- Careful, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Quick learner with sound judgment
- Willingness to become familiar with new areas of law and business models
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and confident manner
- High sense of responsibility, integrity, and discretion
- Ability to work reliably and pragmatically under time pressure
