About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, evaluate, and understand customer requirements for NetSuite setup, configuration, and customization
- Design, develop, and test enhancements aligned with client business process requirements
- Document business-user interactions, requirements, and concerns
- Migrate data, perform mass updates, and execute data merges while preserving data integrity
- Perform and present gap analyses
- Prepare business process documents and functional specifications for customizations
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and hands-on training to end users
- Update forms, add custom fields, create dashboards, and configure saved searches
- Conduct functional testing of business scenarios and test cases
- Develop project estimates with the project manager and manage project work plans
- Create IT-level and user-level documentation
- Train new resources and manage their alignment with the team
- Coordinate with NetSuite support on unresolved issues
- Document customizations and workflows
- Advise on out-of-the-box NetSuite solutions versus customization
- Communicate project status and delivery timeframes to stakeholders
- Resolve functional, month-end, and reconciliation issues in Oracle NetSuite
- Coordinate with internal technical team members and Oracle application support
- Configure NetSuite forms, fields, records, saved searches, workflows, reports, roles, permissions, SuiteApps, and SuiteBundles
- Support integrations development and data migration
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT or relevant experience
- At least 7-8 years of IT experience as BA or Implementation Consultant
- At least 4+ years of NetSuite experience
- NetSuite certification a plus
- Detailed understanding of common business practices related to Accounting, Sales Operations, Order-to-Cash, including billing, revenue management, subscription, and purchasing
- Experience with ERP areas including GL, Financials, Banking, Payables, Receivables, CRM, Electronic Funds Transactions, and Fixed Asset
- Previous experience in fit-gap analysis, application design, modification, training, testing, and support desired
- Ability to extend NetSuite using SuiteApps
- Knowledge of SuiteTalk, SuiteScript, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteFlow
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills to interpret user requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Certified in NS foundation and advanced modules
