About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, operate, and optimize the IT infrastructure for 150 users
- Manage virtualized VMware and Proxmox environments with Linux and Windows systems
- Administer the hybrid Active Directory/Entra ID environment
- Continuously optimize Microsoft 365 services, particularly Exchange Online and SharePoint
- Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls and endpoint security
- Support employees through user support services
- Select and procure hardware and software
- Install, configure, and support various end-user applications
- Administer, maintain, and back up database systems
- Coordinate external IT service providers and technology partners
- Contribute to the further development and operation of EGS-plan’s MonKey monitoring platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training in IT systems administration, a degree in computer science/business information systems, or a comparable qualification
- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent approach to work
- Flexibility in taking on and developing expertise in new subject areas
- Reliable and responsible approach
- Strong awareness of IT security
- Knowledge of managing virtualized VMware and Proxmox environments
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
- Experience with hybrid Active Directory/Entra ID environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Exchange Online and SharePoint
- Knowledge of firewalls and endpoint security
- Knowledge of database systems
