About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform hands-on business analysis by understanding client business needs and transforming them into detailed functional requirements
Collaborate closely with solution architects, product and program managers, business users and other stakeholders
Deliver business analysis outputs, including business and functional requirements
Develop requirements artifacts and communicate analysis deliverables with Agile teams
Contribute ideas and suggestions to the company’s strategic roadmap
Support or lead other business analysts as needed
Elicit, analyze, document and obtain sign-off on functional and business requirements
Analyze current and future client business processes and perform gap analysis against EIS Suite™ capabilities
Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the project lifecycle to drive implementation of EIS Suite™ for client needs
Own analysis activities for a specific business domain or area, including planning iterations and reporting status, risks and issues
Collaborate daily with architects and developers and assist with solution design for complex requirements
Educate Product Owners and clients on the implementation process and coach them on EIS Suite™ capabilities
Promote best business analysis practices within the team and company

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Programmer-Analyst in large or medium IT implementations of enterprise software applications
3+ years hands-on experience owning business analysis activities of a domain or analysis area of platform implementations
Comprehensive understanding of and experience working in an Agile environment
Applied knowledge of SDLC and software development methodologies
Experience with requirements management tools
Understanding of SQL and principles of relational databases
Experience analyzing business processes and using BABOK® techniques such as Use Cases, User Stories and Flow Diagrams
Excellent planning, communication, documentation, organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred experience managing other business analysts in at least one implementation project end-to-end
Preferred experience with object, process or data modeling and object-oriented application development
Preferred experience in Insurance / Financial Domain
Preferred CBAP® certification
Valid working permit in Japan required
Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 30%
