About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple consulting, compliance, and tax planning engagements
  • Prepare federal, state, multi-state, and international income tax returns
  • Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations
  • Respond appropriately to IRS and state tax notices
  • Communicate with clients as directed by the Manager
  • Work as part of an integrated team
  • Assist with training and mentoring Interns and Associates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • 4+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or with a mix of public/private experience
  • Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trust/estates, and/or entities
  • Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field (preferred/desired)
  • CPA, parts passed towards completion, or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification (preferred/desired)
  • Experience using ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, XCM, or similar tax software (preferred/desired)
