About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead challenging projects with international blue-chip clients and deliver high-profile presentations to senior clients
Work in teams of 3 to 6 consultants on 2 to 3 projects simultaneously
Drive high client value and broaden senior-level relationships with current and prospective clients
Translate client relationships into new business opportunities for Ekimetrics
Lead projects from discovery meetings through final recommendations
Gather and analyze data, build statistical models, translate quantitative insights into strategic recommendations, and deliver persuasive final results
Develop junior team members to perform high-impact work across clients’ businesses
Drive development initiatives and new thought leadership
Transfer knowledge to junior team members and build Ekimetrics’ reputation and brand in Asia
Identify actions to improve engagements, retain top performers, and support future leaders
Sponsor recruiting, retaining, and engaging diverse talent
Design and scope new projects and select analyses to answer client questions
Ensure high client satisfaction and timely resolution of issues
Ensure client business cases are achievable and Ekimetrics can influence promised outcomes
Present actionable, easy-to-understand findings to drive adoption
Drive client retention and new business opportunities
Contribute to thought leadership, knowledge management, recruitment, culture, gender balance, diversity, and pioneering machine learning/AI initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, operations research or business (MBA) from a leading academic institution is preferred
4+ years of experience in Data Analysis / Modelling / Advanced Analytics in a business setting, preferably in a client-facing consulting-oriented role
Extensive knowledge in statistics or applied mathematics
Experience with modelling / optimization and advanced analytical methodologies
Experience with statistical software such as R, Python, etc.
Strong knowledge of marketing and media strategy, and the key questions for the modern CMO
Excellent communication skills, especially translating complex technical findings into plain language insights and stories for stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to develop new and lasting client relationships at senior levels across multiple industries
Team-oriented and collaborative working style
Management experience and demonstrated ability to develop younger talent and build a high-performing team
Project management and delivery expertise
High proficiency in Putonghua and English
Proficiency in APAC languages is a plus (Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, etc.)
