About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide personalized therapy services in accordance with physician orders
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Help patients improve daily living skills, fine motor coordination, mobility, and overall function
  • Teach patients and caregivers home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe equipment use
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on changing needs
  • Communicate changes in condition, safety concerns, and progress to physicians and the care team
  • Coordinate adaptive equipment and specialized devices, including custom splints when needed
  • Provide direction and supervision to COTAs, Home Health Aides, and other clinical staff involved in patient care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current, unrestricted Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical care setting
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record or reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel between patient homes throughout the assigned territory
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently and lift 50–100 pounds
