About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the financial performance of branches within the Branch Director’s provider number
  • Implement an effective budgeting and accounting system promoting patient health and safety
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels at branch locations to meet patient needs
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement regulations and changes
  • Identify and report potential payment and coverage problems
  • Supervise and coordinate utilization review activities
  • Participate in strategic development of Key Accounts and weekly, monthly, and quarterly review meetings as needed
  • Ensure accuracy of public information, materials, and activities
  • Maintain availability by phone as directed by company policy or regulatory requirement
  • Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
  • Identify needs for program and service changes and develop proposals for supervisor consideration
  • Investigate complaints and problems, ensure resolution and correction of deficiencies, and report results to the Area Vice President
  • Report to the Area Vice President

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years Hospice experience
  • RN license in state of operations that is current and unrestricted preferred
  • Previous leadership/management experience within a Home Health/Hospice environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Previous experience with Homecare HomeBase is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations and financials
  • Experience working within a matrixed environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field is preferred
