About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide occupational therapy services in patients’ preferred home settings
  • Help build and grow occupational therapy services within the community
  • Deliver high-quality care to home health patients
  • Develop and support a team of compassionate and dedicated healthcare providers
  • Conduct patient visits throughout the branch service area
  • Position or transfer patients and move equipment as needed
  • Coordinate with dedicated scheduling support to maximize efficiency and minimize unnecessary drive time
  • Report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor or designee

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current, unrestricted OT license valid for the state of work
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a clinical care setting
  • Able and willing to travel throughout the branch service area
  • Seeking a clinician residing within approximately 60 miles of the La Grange branch location
  • Patient visits are typically scheduled within approximately 30 miles of the clinician's preferred coverage area
  • Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws
  • Must be able and willing to travel 50%
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
