About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary compliance contact for branch leadership
- Provide guidance on compliance questions and concerns
- Coach and mentor Compliance Business Partners
- Oversee Associate Compliance Partners’ timeliness, accuracy, productivity, and quality of work
- Lead high-risk investigations with the Director of Service Line Compliance
- Interview staff, gather and analyze evidence, and develop findings and recommendations
- Review team investigations for completeness and provide feedback
- Maintain accurate case records and reports
- Identify trends and root causes
- Recommend preventive actions and escalate significant compliance, privacy, quality, or business risks
- Partner with operational leaders and the Director of Service Line Compliance to improve processes and reduce risk
- Meet quality and productivity goals
- Complete required training
- Report to the Director of Service Line Compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration or a related field, or 5–7 years’ relevant experience in Compliance, Risk or Safety investigations
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, clinical risk management, patient/employee safety, or a related field within a healthcare setting
- Previous experience in home health, hospice or personal care services is highly desirable
- Current RN, LPN or equivalent clinical licensure preferred
- Certification in Compliance (e.g. CHC) is preferred
- Travel up to 10%, including driving, air travel and overnight stays
- Meet all applicable agency policies and procedures related to health screening and required testing
- Protect patient and staff confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
