About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the design, implementation, and progressive ownership of integrations connecting SaaS and business platforms to centralized Azure-based data repositories
Build and maintain automated data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for enterprise reporting and analytics
Support the design and refinement of data models optimized for Power BI
Help ensure integrations follow security best practices, including identity management, access controls, and governance standards
Develop and support automation and data orchestration using Python and JavaScript
Work with JSON for API payloads, configuration templates, policy definitions, and data interchange
Contribute to reusable integration components and internal tooling
Follow version control, documentation, coding, and production-quality standards
Troubleshoot cross-platform data flow issues, API errors, authentication challenges, and automation failures
Create and maintain standard operating procedures, architectural documentation, and integration runbooks
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and validate reporting-ready datasets
Gradually mentor IT team members on integration techniques, cloud data patterns, and Microsoft 365 best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 E5, including identity, device, and security policy creation and management
Experience supporting integration of SaaS/business platforms
Proficiency in Python for API integrations, ETL automation, and operational tooling
Proficiency in JavaScript for automation, API-layer logic, and integration workflows
Proficiency in JSON for API payloads, configuration templates, and data interchange
Moderate Azure proficiency
Experience with Azure SQL or similar relational databases
Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Automation
Experience with Azure Storage, networking basics, and service identities
Working knowledge of relational database design, indexing, permissions, and query optimization
Understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices for reporting performance
Preferred: experience supporting ETL job creation
Preferred: familiarity with event-driven architectures and API rate limit management
Preferred: experience with Zero Trust, cloud governance, and data protection frameworks
