About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement and execute tests at all planned levels, log and evaluate results, and document deviations from expected results
Use test administration, monitoring, and management tools
Participate in test environment setup
Prepare and acquire test data
Contribute to creating, validating, and updating test documentation (test cases, test plans, etc.)
Review, analyze, and assess project requirements and specifications to convert them into quality control process artifacts
Review test artifacts developed by others
Communicate with other team members
Report test progress to stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong SQL skills
Data validation techniques (row counts, checksums, before/after comparisons)
Good understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines
Experience with at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
Regression testing approach for DB-dependent applications
Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Azure Test Plans)
Bug tracking (Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with version control (Git)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how DB changes get deployed (e.g., Azure DevOps)
Strong API testing skills
Upper-Intermediate level of English
