About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure availability of goods and services to support site operations
- Create, process, and expedite purchase orders while monitoring delivery schedules and resolving supply issues
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, pricing, quality concerns, and shipment details
- Maintain supplier master data, purchasing records, contracts, invoices, and related documentation
- Execute procurement activities in alignment with sourcing strategies, operational requirements, company policies, and EHS standards
- Evaluate supplier quotations, support sourcing and tender activities, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier relationships
- Support forecasting, audits, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Planning, and Warehouse teams
- Assist with inventory monitoring and supply continuity planning
- Prepare and distribute purchasing, supplier performance, delivery status, and cost-tracking reports
- Provide administrative support, including coordination, scheduling, and documentation management
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide data, updates, and recommendations to supervisors and sourcing leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of purchasing principles and inventory management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Bilingual
- Familiarity with SAP or similar procurement systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently
- Understanding of purchasing processes and supplier management
- Strong ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate records
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
