About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on R&D projects independently, collaboratively with R&D personnel, and as a member of cross-functional teams
  • Develop new products and processes based on business needs
  • Conduct chemical research quickly, cost-effectively, and safely
  • Support Senior R&D scientists in new product development, process improvement, and technical problem solving on existing products
  • Design and execute laboratory experiments for new formulations and processes following laboratory safety standards
  • Operate laboratory instrumentation and perform routine analyses, including titration, pH, X-ray, optical microscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and chronoamperometry
  • Analyze, interpret, and document experimental results accurately while maintaining data integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing products and commercialize new products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Practical laboratory experience, preferably in general electrochemistry, electroplating technology, materials science, or formulation for electronics manufacturing
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Initiative, adaptability, and teamwork within cross-functional areas
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to use statistical methods to design and analyze complex experimental programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications is required
  • B.S. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience working in laboratories/R&D laboratory environment; industrial experience highly advantageous
