About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build relationships with business stakeholders across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, and Operations
Lead requirements discovery by interviewing requestors, adjacent teams, and process participants
Use AI tools to accelerate drafting of requirements, functional specifications, and user stories
Liaise between business and IT throughout the project lifecycle
Manage communication, resolve clarifications, and keep delivery on track
Own post-launch quality by reviewing dashboards, reports, and system outputs after releases
Escalate issues when delivered functionality does not perform as intended
Track project status across active workstreams and communicate updates proactively
Identify potential edge cases before they become expensive fixes
Mentor BA II team members on requirements quality, stakeholder communication, and post-launch ownership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in business analysis, IT project delivery, product operations, or a closely related role
Ability to independently lead requirements discovery on complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Track record of writing precise functional specifications that IT teams can build from correctly the first time
Experience managing the business-to-IT relationship through a full project lifecycle
Ability to review post-launch reports, identify anomalies, trace them toward a root cause, and communicate findings to drive action
Comfort using AI tools professionally
Excellent written and verbal communication
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
Dedicated workspace free from background noise and distractions during business hours
Reliable high-speed broadband Internet connection of at least 10 megabytes
Access to a direct Ethernet cable connection if Wi-Fi is insufficient
Ability to work on a computer for a full workday
Ability to type on a keyboard
Ability to sit at a desk for a full workday
