About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop end-to-end features using TypeScript, Next.js, and React on the front end and Node.js on the back end
  • Maintain Vue.js and PHP applications as they are modernized
  • Lead the migration of data and functionality from legacy systems to the new platform without disrupting operations
  • Create and maintain integrations with internal and external APIs, including audience measurement, file storage, and authentication
  • Stabilize legacy systems during their replacement by handling incidents and support requests
  • Work with AI agents throughout the development lifecycle, from specification to review, and help the team adopt them
  • Support the deployment and operation of production applications in partnership with the infrastructure team
  • Participate in requirements gathering with commercial teams
  • Propose architecture and serve as a technical reference between development and business teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js on the front end, and Node.js (Fastify, Express, or similar) on the back end
  • Proficiency in SQL Server or another relational database, including data modeling, complex queries, indexes, transactions, and high-precision numeric types
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication (OAuth/JWT)
  • Unit and integration testing
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Gemini
  • Ability to specify work, write acceptance criteria, and critically review AI-generated code
  • Ability to take ownership of code written by others, understand its business rules, and propose improvements
  • Nice to have: Experience with MongoDB and data migration between different databases
  • Nice to have: Vue.js 3 or the ability to read PHP for migrating business rules
  • Nice to have: Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and IAM), Docker, and GitHub Actions
  • Nice to have: Retool or similar low-code tools
  • Nice to have: Bun, Auth0, and reverse proxies (Caddy or Nginx)
  • Nice to have: Experience with pricing, quotation, commercial proposal, media, advertising, or adtech systems
  • Nice to have: JIRA and agile methodologies
