About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent the needs and desires of the stakeholder community to Agile teams.
- Serve as the expert on the market and customer.
- Drive the solution concept across multiple Agile teams.
- Lead product strategy, definition, positioning, roadmap development, portfolio management, competitive analysis, win/loss analysis, forecasting, and ecosystem value delivery.
- Communicate customer needs and participate in validation of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to develop and communicate the vision for Scrum teams.
- Manage the Program Epic/Initiative backlog at the Agile Lean Program level.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases for Epics and features affecting the Agile Release Train or team of Agile teams.
- Make product and program decisions based on customer needs.
- Use KPIs to measure product performance.
- Support portfolio work, including budget parameters and strategic themes.
- Advocate for funding, drive funding requests, and secure budgets for continuous customer value delivery.
- Collaborate with system and solution architects on technical decision-making and sequencing.
- Build an effective Product Manager/Product Owner team across multiple trains.
- Mentor Product Managers in driving solutions across teams.
- Drive business value delivery at the program level.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 8 years experience with writing business/functional requirements and experience implementing Agile methodologies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- SAFe (SA) certification required.
- Leading SAFe (SA), strongly preferred.
- Previous Product Owner experience STRONGLY PREFERRED.
- Payment Integrity experience preferred.
- Must be within a reasonable commuting distance from one of the posting locations unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
- Associates are required to work in the office 1–2 days per week under the hybrid arrangement.
- New candidates in certain patient/member-facing roles must become vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza, unless an acceptable explanation is provided.
