About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide 24/7 Behavioral Health and Employee Assistance services
  • Respond to initial customer contacts and requests for EAP services
  • Receive client requests, assess situations, and determine appropriate courses of action
  • Provide telephone and/or on-site crisis intervention, assessment, short-term problem resolution, and referrals
  • Manage Critical Incident Stress Debriefing requests
  • Assess members and help them access behavioral healthcare benefits under their health plans
  • Manage the shared mailbox and review information for placement in the documentation system

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience
  • Current unrestricted license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Professional Counselor, as allowed by applicable state laws, in applicable state(s)
  • Inpatient/outpatient behavioral health experience preferred
  • Previous call center experience nice to have
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 9:30–6pm MST (11:30am–8pm EST)
  • Ability to work virtually while residing within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location, unless accommodation is granted by law
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 and Influenza for certain patient/member-facing roles
