About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and oversee projects, initiatives, regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, on-site reviews, and risk assessments
Plan audits, conduct mock audits and audit training, manage audit evidence preparation, and assess audit preparedness
Establish project plans, perform gap analyses, set milestone dates, and provide leadership updates
Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and company strategies to assess impact
Consult with clients as a subject matter expert
Conduct complex investigations, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are made
Interface with external clients, regulators, vendors, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and senior management
Support Elevance Health's mission of improving lives and communities and simplifying healthcare

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS and minimum of 6 years health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance or privacy experience; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
Regulatory compliance experience strongly preferred
Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial experience strongly preferred
Regulatory analysis experience preferred
Health insurance industry experience preferred
Risk assessment and audit experience preferred
Client engagement experience preferred
Experience presenting to senior leaders up through C-Suite preferred
MS/MBA/JD or professional designation preferred
Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted
Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week
Certain patient/member-facing roles require COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination, subject to stated exceptions
