Key responsibilities & impact

Identify key opportunities to promote the Company through executive leadership, senior management and corporate communications personnel
Serve as a strategic communications partner to C-suite leadership
Develop compelling executive communications and thought leadership advancing enterprise priorities
Strengthen leadership visibility and engage internal and external stakeholders
Partner with C-suite executives and senior leadership on strategic communications initiatives
Anticipate, prepare for and manage communications issues with significant enterprise impact
Lead complex departmental assignments and workload
Develop and introduce innovative communications channels, platforms and experiences
Leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance executive communications, content development and audience engagement
Research, develop, review and edit communications materials for executive management
Provide guidance or direction to team members on department and enterprise initiatives
Obtain bids and select vendors for cost-effective spending on large-scale initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS in communications, journalism or public relations; or equivalent combination of education and experience
8 years of experience in a large organization or agency setting
Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
Ability to partner with C-suite executives and senior leadership
Experience developing strategic communications and thought leadership initiatives
Ability to manage communications issues with significant enterprise impact
Ability to lead complex departmental assignments and workload
Experience developing communications channels, platforms and experiences
Knowledge of new and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence
Experience developing executive communications, strategic messaging and thought leadership
Ability to guide or direct team members
Ability to obtain bids and select vendors for large-scale initiatives
