About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and develop best practices and cost of care improvement processes
  • Provide end-to-end operational orchestration across high-priority Cost of Care initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation and value realization
  • Identify cost of care savings opportunities through complex analytics in partnership with the cost of care analytics team
  • Develop action plans, benefits and risk assessments
  • Partner with the actuarial team to develop and ensure accurate savings quantification
  • Champion cost of care initiatives and partner with cross-functional business, clinical, operational, analytics, and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate alignment, clarify dependencies, and accelerate decision-making
  • Manage and present cost of care projects to senior leadership
  • Participate in Enterprise Cost of Care workgroups and project teams
  • Maintain visibility across initiative lifecycles and address dependencies, risks, and execution barriers
  • Facilitate timely decisions and escalations to maintain momentum
  • Strengthen operational alignment, optimize ways of working, and accelerate initiatives that mitigate healthcare cost trends and improve affordability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree and minimum of 9 years relevant experience in Health Care, or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
  • Strong strategic, business, financial, and operational acumen, preferably within healthcare, Cost of Care, or affordability
  • Ability to influence senior leaders, communicate effectively, align cross-functional stakeholders, and drive progress without direct authority
  • Strong strategic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to anticipate risks, identify dependencies, resolve barriers, and navigate complex organizational challenges
  • Experience orchestrating complex, enterprise-wide initiatives from strategy through implementation and value realization
  • Prior experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, or strategic operations preferred
  • Must be able to work EST/CST hours
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted
