About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver end-to-end system development and maintenance for complex technology systems
Design, develop, and enhance RESTful APIs and UI components for enterprise applications
Define and build request/response formats and application interface contracts
Develop on medium to large complex customer technology platforms or architectures
Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop business requirements
Analyze and classify complex change requests and document system code enhancements
Collaborate with engineers and graphic designers
Define application scope and objectives and prepare functional or technical specifications
Analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements
Drive requirements that account for stakeholder needs
Identify problems and risks
Code and maintain complex information-system components
Mentor others on coding standards and perform code reviews
Review test cases and advise QA on regression impact
Develop and perform system testing, fix defects, and re-execute unit tests
Integrate activities with other IT departments for project implementation and support
Provide on-call support, monitor systems, and identify system deficiencies

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience on one platform, multi database, multi language, or multi business application
Experience with AI tools such as Claude and Co Pilot preferred
Experience with API documentation standards such as OpenAPI/Swagger and API governance practices preferred
Familiarity with secure coding practices including OWASP
Familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns
Familiarity with performance tuning for APIs and UIs
Must be within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted
