Health Promotion Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult on and leverage health promotion and healthy lifestyle behaviors for employers, consultants and consumers to win new business, retain accounts and grow membership
- Collaborate with Culture, Well-being and Community Engagement teams to develop multi-year health promotion plans and engagement strategies
- Conduct customer worksite wellness assessments and provide qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Plan and facilitate on-site or virtual employee well-being events
- Serve as well-being ambassador for the region
- Design customized health promotion solutions for employer and consultant communities
- Optimize wellness dollars to promote member engagement and position wellness as a competitive differentiator with clients
- Travel to health fairs approximately three to four times per year throughout the South, Midwest, and Northeast
- Occasionally travel to the client’s NYC headquarters
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree in Health Education, Public Health or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
- MS/MA degree preferred
- Certified Health Education Specialist, Registered Dietician, or Exercise Physiologist preferred
- Some travel to support clients’ Health and Wellness events
- Ability to work Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm EST
- Must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
- Must work in-office 1–2 days per week under the hybrid work arrangement
