About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult on and leverage health promotion and healthy lifestyle behaviors for employers, consultants and consumers
- Win new business, retain accounts and grow membership across all lines of business
- Collaborate with Culture, Well-being and Community Engagement teams to develop multi-year health promotion plans and engagement strategies
- Strengthen positive workplace culture and community connections
- Conduct customer worksite wellness assessments
- Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Plan and facilitate on-site or virtual employee well-being events
- Serve as well-being ambassador for the region
- Design customized health promotion solutions for employer and consultant communities
- Optimize wellness dollars to promote member engagement and position wellness as a competitive differentiator with clients
- Operate primarily in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations
- Attend the office three days a week
- Travel 15–20% to Palmdale, El Segundo, San Diego, and other northern California sites
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree in Health Education, Public Health or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
- MS/MA degree preferred
- Certified Health Education Specialist, Registered Dietician, or Exercise Physiologist preferred
- Some travel to support clients’ Health and Wellness events
- Must be within a reasonable commuting distance of the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
- Monday–Friday availability, 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm PST
- New candidates in certain patient/member-facing roles must become vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza, subject to stated exceptions
