About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze, determine, and drive opportunities to standardize, eliminate waste, and improve end-to-end Payment Integrity processes
  • Lead the Payment Integrity Unified Ecosystem initiative by coordinating business and technology partners
  • Drive development of new Payment Integrity solutions and applications
  • Serve as a thought leader on end-to-end process improvements for providers, members, and internal end-users
  • Connect matrixed organizations across Claims, Health Plans, Operations, PE&C, PSCCR, Finance, Actuary, Digital, and IT
  • Lead the initiative from assessment through implementation
  • Develop actionable project plans and ensure business controls monitor sustainable results
  • Build consensus across business and technology workstreams
  • Lead root cause analysis, uncover trends, contribute to solution definition, and determine best practices
  • Establish and manage milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and recovery plans
  • Use data-supported reporting to communicate program health and delivery gaps with red, yellow, and green status updates
  • Communicate initiative drivers, investment value, anticipated return, progress, risks, and results to executive, business, and technical audiences
  • Create and maintain an end-to-end Payment Integrity Unified Ecosystem roadmap

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in an operations environment, including 7 years leading and directing large enterprise-wide projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Payment Integrity, healthcare payer, claims, cost-of-care, healthcare technology, or related healthcare operations experience preferred
  • Experience leading large-scale, multiyear enterprise transformation initiatives preferred
  • Strong project leadership experience, including project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and implementation preferred
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, determine next steps, solve complex problems, and move initiatives forward with limited direction preferred
  • Business, systems, data, and digital fluency preferred
  • Ability to analyze information, identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations preferred
  • Executive communication and storytelling skills, including business cases, presentations, and ROI narratives preferred
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, influence without direct authority, and drive alignment and accountability across matrixed organizations preferred
  • Experience developing strategic roadmaps and working in Agile, product-development, or technology-transformation environments using Aha!, Jira, or Smartsheet preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work Eastern or Central Time Zone business hours
  • Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted
