About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and prioritize patient census
  • Reach out to patients to explain services and enroll them in appropriate programs
  • Provide support by addressing inquiries
  • Schedule initial and annual appointments
  • Enter documentation into designated systems
  • Handle calls, texts, facsimiles, and electronic queues while taking notes and speaking to customers
  • Resolve caller issues completely with empathy and persistence
  • Work from the office as necessary based on business needs
  • Participate in required in-person training sessions
  • Work within a structured schedule, including occasional overtime or flexibility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in call center, sales, health care, or customer-focused environment
  • Any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work 9:00 AM CST–6:00 PM CST
  • Ability to work a structured schedule with occasional overtime or flexibility based on business needs
  • Ability to work from the office as necessary
  • Ability to become vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza for certain patient/member-facing roles, unless an acceptable explanation is provided
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort and proficiency with digital tools and platforms
  • Ability to maintain focus during extended periods of sitting and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
