About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide transportation services for members
- Drive members/patients back and forth to their health service centers
- Contact the affiliate to confirm the coordinated service
- Contact members to report when near the pickup location
- Follow up on services provided
- Update service statuses in the platform to ensure effective monitoring and compliance
- Guarantee quality service
- Travel up to 100% within designated regions in Puerto Rico
- Primarily operate in the field and travel to client sites or designated locations
- Attend the office occasionally for meetings or training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires Authorization for Medical Care certification issued by the Bureau of Transportation and Other Public Services
- Category 4 Driver's License (Chauffer’s license) in good standing
- Certificate of Law 300
- Current National CPR Foundation Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or obtained within 15 days of hire
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Associate degree in an area related to health preferred
- 1 year of related customer service experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with geriatric population preferred
- Experience handling electronic equipment such as mobile phones and applications preferred
- Ability to drive long distances more than 3 days a week
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday within operational hours of 6:00 am - 11:00 pm
- Alternate Saturdays may be required
- Additional hours, including weekends or holidays, may be required based on operational needs
- Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
