About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and lead the management reporting and analysis process
Prepare financial and business analyses and research covering financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment
Prepare budgets, forecasts, trend analyses, and analyses for sales, membership, cost of care, operating expenses, general business conditions, and related areas
Conduct special financial and business-related studies
Cooperate with other departments in preparing analyses
Provide guidance to less experienced financial analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 3 years general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
PBM industry experience
Experience in Excel
Experience in SQL
MBA, CPA, or CMA
Associates must work within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location
Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week
Additional requirements may apply for Government Business Division assignments, including background checks and/or government clearances, segregation of duties principles, role-specific training, monitoring, and sensitive data handling instructions
