About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create architectural solutions articulating business context, conceptual design, and component-level logical design
Recommend new technologies based on business value drivers and return on investment
Drive new technologies toward implementation and exploitation
Establish the overall architecture vision for the platform
Ensure platform components are appropriately designed and leveraged
Contribute to the holistic Enterprise Architecture vision
Oversee architecture solution design
Coordinate platform-level conceptual architecture components, including data, application, and technical architecture
Define, communicate, and drive security architecture design
Monitor compliance with enterprise-level architectural standards
Define systems, technical, and application architectures for strategic initiatives
Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and evolutionary roadmaps
Communicate strategic architectural direction in support of business and technical strategies
Explain how roadmaps deliver cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in the health care industry strongly preferred
Ability to recommend and implement technologies based on business value drivers and return on investment
Knowledge of platform architecture components
Knowledge of data, application, and technical architecture
Ability to define, communicate, and drive security architecture design
Ability to develop and maintain architectural blueprints and evolutionary roadmaps
Ability to work within commuting distance of a posting location or obtain an accommodation as required by law
