About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to drive adoption and utilization of BioPlus Specialty Infusion for infusion medications
- Maintain sales effectiveness within the assigned territory through regular in-person meetings and support for healthcare providers and staff
- Utilize databases, Salesforce, and other tools to identify key accounts, document sales activity, and analyze performance metrics
- Develop and foster account relationships, ensuring effective communication and exemplary customer service
- Maintain and document a call cycle
- Build and maintain relationships with providers, biologic coordinators, medical assistants, clinical teams, and pharmaceutical partners
- Support infusion activity, including providing educational resources and reimbursement processes
- Partner with the leadership team to formulate and execute business objectives
- Communicate information about competitors, issues, and business threats
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, conferences, training programs, and conventions
- Travel within the designated region
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience within the pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
- Experience in Neurology, Immunology, Rheumatology, and Gastroenterology highly preferred
- Willingness to travel strongly preferred
- Understanding of Infusion highly preferred
- Ideal candidates will reside within the stated territory
- Comfortable traveling approximately 50%–70% of the time
- Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
- Candidates in certain patient/member-facing roles must become vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza, unless an acceptable explanation is provided
